Angela Essenhigh qualified in Dress and Textile Science at Newcastle Polytechnic.

After a time teaching she concentrated on the manufacture of costume, specialising in historical pieces.

Angela has worked on uniforms and costumes for a number of major museums, both UK and worldwide, manufacturing both static display pieces and first person living history interpreter uniforms.

Her work can also be seen on the stage and screen, as well as in a number of books.
